This is one of my favorite places in Lewiston. My friend and I grabbed lunch here recently during the Lewiston Art Festival. There was only a 10 minute wait. The service was great. Also, let's talk about the remodeling they did. The last time I was here, was a year ago after the Lewiston Art Festival. During that time they added a space for games where the old bathrooms were, added more seating, and created a beautiful bathroom space. I am so glad they did. The old bathroom setup was so dumpy. (No pun intended.)
I ordered the half chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and a salad. The salad came with walnuts, which was nice. The mashed potatoes were delicious. They tasted a little sweet, and like they had corn in them, but I don't think they did. It was delicious. Get those mashed potatoes. I'll be back. Hopefully sooner than next year. -

Well, our visit to this place was pretty much a disaster. Hate to give one star because the food that we did "see" looked great, and I had tasted their dry rub on wings at Taste of Lewiston and loved it. But the entire experience of trying to get food was a failure. And, sadly, mixed in with the good reviews, I see quite a few bad reviews where people had the same experience trying to get food service.
We went in for a drink during the Fall Fest. I went to a table, my friend went to the restroom. A server approached me and asked if we were ordering food. I said, probably drinks only, wasn't sure, my friend was in the restroom. He said that if they got really busy, if we didn't order food, he may have to ask us to leave the table. OK. He actually never came back to check to be sure of whether or not we wanted food.
My friend went to the bar, ordered our drinks, brought them back to the table. They got a bit busier due to the rain, but not full enough that we needed to vacate our table. There were plenty of tables with the tented patio available. After about a half an hour, we decided we did want some food. We flagged down another server, as after the initial conversation as to whether or not we'd be eating, no one came to check on us. She said we'd have to be put on a wait list for a server. HUH??? We had a table, but a wait list for a server!!!! They weren't that crowded. Uhhh OK! In the meantime, we got more drinks from the bar. Quite a while later, the server came back with menus and said she can at least give us these to look at. Yay! Progress! But that's as far as it got. Quite some time later, we managed to catch the eye of the initial server, and he also said we're on the list for a server. The place was only about 70% full. Plenty of tables. There were crowds to be expected due to the festival. Inadequate staffing? Can't even get someone to look at us unless we practically tackled them. We never got to order food. We were there 2 hours. I overheard a similar conversation in the restroom before we left. Problems getting a server to order food. I've never seen anything like this anywhere. Pathetic. -

Center Street in Lewiston has a lot of places you can chose to eat at, but only one BBQ. I had the brisket with mac and cheese and onion rings. It also comes with corn bread. The corn bread was dry in my opinion, but I like my corn bread soft and moist.
The brisket had the smoke taste and just the right amount of BBQ sauce. The table had a bottle of the house sauce if you need more. The brisket is tender and cooked perfectly. The onion rings were crispy and a perfect side to the brisket.
I love their brewery next door and the side of mac there, but the mac and cheese here at the BBQ Pub tasted like it was a box of kraft mac and cheese.
They have a full bar with all different types of beer, including their own stock. -

One of the best restaurant/ bars in town. Good music, ok food, decent prices. Nothing amazing, but still our go to for the average Joe. Sabres game is on which is all that matters right now.

Went here on a Saturday evening at 7:00pm and boy were they busy, though by 8:30pm is quieted down. They gave us a pager to wait 20 minutes but it never worked, the hostess later told us they were having issues with it.
This place is made up of a pub on the right side (separate dining room, patio, and hostess) that serves pub food. and this bar, patio, and dining room that has a more comprehensive BBQ menu where you items such as steak and ribs.
Our server was a young fellow who was friendly but very slow; we had to ask him 3 times for water.
We ordered the sampler platter with ribs, pulled pork, and brisket. We also ordered the meatloaf entree with garlic mashed and chili, along with smoked wings. The sampler platter and meatloaf came cold, not good for meat. Even the garlic mashed were cold--and plain tasting! However, the chili and smoked wings were hot, and delicious. The meatloaf was the worst tasting of the bunch with far too much fillers, and not the best flavor. The brisket was really good. The ribs were not fall off the bone, they were actually pretty tough.
